2022 GovTravels: Travel Academy Highlights

The 2022 GovTravels and Travel Academy will bring together subject matter experts in a variety of fields. Travel Academy provides a great learning opportunity with interactive discussions between attendees and session leaders. Travel Academy sessions will be held on the afternoons of Tuesday, March 1 and Wednesday, March 2. Session leaders, descriptions, and program schedule will be continually updated on the conference website.

This year’s Travel Academy sessions include the following tracks:

  • Travel Experience and Safety – Examining responsibilities and capabilities of industry to care for travelers from threats to personal safety and health, intertwined with role of Government.
  • Travel Innovation – Learn how to take advantage of new techniques and technologies in travel to assess threats, locate resources, and act.
  • Travel Technology – Advancing travel industry capabilities through technology including challenges to the industry, such as virtual meetings, and other advances since last year.
  • Travel Partner Programs – Providing an overview of government and industry travel partnerships and programs.
  • Travel Compliance – A review of ethical and compliance standards relative to government and industry travel:
