The 838th Transportation Battalion discharged more than 600 pieces of 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division equipment off the M/V ARC Integrity. The 21st Theater Sustainment Command coordinated the onward movement of the unit’s cargo to multiple exercise locations. The Patriot Brigade is deploying from their home station at Fort Drum, New York to Scandinavia to participate in NATO’s Operation Defender 2024.

During the loadout, ARC hosted multiple vessel tours for the host nation and other dignitaries. The United States Army Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC) Commander on ground, Major Samuel Robinson, stated “There has been a great cooperation with ARC and our host nation, Norway to coordinate this maiden port call for ARC Integrity.”

The M/V ARC Integrity is one of the most capable commercial vessels in the global fleet with a 240 metric ton stern ramp, a main deck height of 21 feet (6.5 meters), and 198,370 square feet of militarily useful capacity. She can carry V-22s and CH-47s in sea configuration, allowing the highest readiness posture immediately upon discharge.
