Engage, Educate and Move Forward: NDTA-USTRANSCOM 2019 Fall Meeting

The NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting in St. Louis, 7-10 October is upon us.  We have over 1300 registered—over half of which are military.  But industry is catching up at a fast rate.  Please check out the latest agenda and academy details on the NDTA website and start planning which Transportation Academy sessions you will attend.  The Honorable Elaine L. Chao, Secretary of Transportation, is one of many featured guest speakers.  This is promising to be a great event—to Engage, Educate and Move Forward.


Here are a few great things you may not have heard about:

  • NDTA members will be presented with the 75th Anniversary Yearbook
  • There are 67 organizations exhibiting and 32 sponsoring
  • Norfolk Southern’s band, “The Lawmen” will play during Monday’s welcome reception and beyond
  • BNSF Train Ride on Tuesday and Wednesday
  • NDTA Foundation Scholarship 50/50 Raffle
  • Tours of St. Louis Union Station, a National Historic Landmark, on Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Most importantly, don’t miss the 75th Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, with music provided by Starlifter, Air Force Band of Mid-America, and USO Troupe
  • 75th Anniversary Fall Meeting Events:
    • 75th Anniversary Art Work Unveiling – Opening Ceremony Tuesday morning
    • Get your official individual or group photo with the 75th Anniversary Art Work at the conclusion of the Chairman’s Reception Wednesday evening
    • See the USO Show Troupe – Performing at the 75th Anniversary Expo, Expo Hall – Wednesday beginning at 5:00pm and at the Chairman’s 75th Anniversary Reception beginning at 5:45pm at the Grand Ballroom
    • See the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America, Starlifters – Wednesday beginning at 5:45pm at the Chairman’s 75th Anniversary Reception at the Grand Ballroom
    • Join us for the NDTA 75th Anniversary Cake Cutting Ceremony as part of the Chairman’s 75th Anniversary Reception
