DLA Distribution Susquehanna, PA National Defense Transportation Day Event

US Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) G4 will be hosting a National Defense Transportation Day event at DLA Distribution Susquehanna, PA installation for transportation-related entities that support the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes a day early on 17 May 2018. This provides an informal interaction between Country Case Management teams, USASAC support directorate personnel, and DLA members with several important transportation entities. National Transportation Week and National Defense Transportation Day offers an annual opportunity to link transportation to the FMS process. USASAC G4 commemorates National Defense Transportation Day by bringing transportation information to the acquisition and logistics management elements of FMS. Without a delivery, material in the FMS process will not be supporting National Security Strategy or the FMS customers’ needs.
