During the recent NDTA-CAS Surface Force Projection Conference (SFPC), Mr. Bruce Busler, SES, Director, Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (TCAC), U.S. Transportation Command and Executive Director, SDDC Transportation Engineering Agency (TEA), led a discussion designed to focus on the efforts to leverage data sharing and integration across Government and Industry systems to provide improved decision making. These efforts can help provide truck and rail companies with movement priorities, deconflict requirements, and provide port call/route guidance.

Joining Mr. Busler for the discussion were panel members Ms. Leigh Method, SES, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics, and serves as principal advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, Office of Secretary of Defense; Mr. Nick Powers, Executive Vice President, UNCOMN, LLC; Ms. Elaine Trevino, Senior Supply Chain Advisor, U.S. Department of Transportation; and Mr. Dan Miller, Director, U.S. Defense Solution Architecture, SAP Public Services.

Each year the SFPC brings together U.S. government and industry logistics and transportation experts, and members of the Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLE), to examine a wide range of challenges associated with moving and sustaining U.S. military forces operating in and through highly contested environments to provide integrated logistics and transportation support when and where it is needed.
