NDTA MEMBERSHIPS

NDTA is dedicated to serving national security through education and knowledge sharing in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, and passenger travel. NDTA members comprise more than 4,000 active duty and retired military members, government civilians, private sector professionals, and students. NDTA membership types include Independent Individual Membership, University Membership, and Corporate Membership. Corporate and University memberships provide individual benefits to a unique number of individuals dependent upon membership type and level. More details are provided below.
Individual Membership
Individual membership in NDTA provides a broad range of benefits and opportunities to network with, serve, and educate the professional community. Get access to exclusive content on our website and enjoy our bi-monthly magazine, the Defense Transportation Journal. Enjoy member discounts at signature NDTA national events like the Fall Meeting and GovTravels Symposium. Take advantage of college scholarship opportunities for yourself or a dependent. University Membership
NDTA provides NDTA university memberships to encourage university, academy, educational institution and college participation with NDTA programs that connect with government and industry logistics and transportation leaders to educate and solve national security challenges. Further we seek university members who want to work collaboratively with NDTA to help in the professional development of students establishing a bridge to their future through mentorship and internship programs.
University membership provides access to exclusive content on the NDTA website and delivery of the NDTA’s bi-monthly magazine, the Defense Transportation Journal. University Members named to the roster will also receive benefits that include discounts at signature NDTA national events like the Fall Meeting and GovTravels Symposium, college scholarship opportunities, and exclusive access to the Jobs Board featuring Chairman’s Circle Corporate Member organizations’ job postings. University members can further engage with government and military sector professionals through a local or virtual chapter.

Corporate Membership
Corporate membership in NDTA provides unique networking, business and educational opportunities for your organization. Corporate membership provides your team the opportunity to take part in key discussions and share ideas with military, government and industry leadership. With Corporate membership your organization can be part of setting and influencing the transportation, travel and distribution agenda for today and the future.
NDTA offers four distinct Corporate Membership programs. We recommend that you speak with our Corporate Membership team to determine the best program for your organization, or to customize a Corporate program to meet the specific needs of your organization. To get started, please complete the Corporate Membership information form and an NDTA Corporate representative will contact you to discuss the program options.
Chairman’s Circle Membership is NDTA’s highest level of corporate membership and appeals to major transportation, distribution, and travel companies with recognized presence in national and international markets. It is particularly well suited to companies with multiple operating units. It allows up to eight elements, subsidiaries, or brands to be included under the parent organization. The company gains additional exposure by having its corporate family identified and listed with color logo and text in the annual DTJ Almanac Issue.
President’s Circle Membership is comparable with the Chairman’s Circle category above, except without the multiple operating units feature. It appeals to major transportation, distribution, and travel companies with recognized presence in national and international markets. The additional resources and personal involvement of our President’s Circle members allows us to provide greater committee support, sponsorship of technical and professional development seminars, and expanded coverage of our professional programs.
Sustaining Membership is appropriate for companies operating in two or more cities or geographic regions. Sustaining Members have an established brand, but may want to expand networks, increase opportunities for military or government business, or be active in the national committee structure. Sustaining level membership or above is required to participate on NDTA functional committees.
Regional Patron Membership is reserved for the small company operating in a specific geographic area of the country. Regional Patrons may want to establish their service or brand as they grow, network with local industry leaders, or support regional activities.
In addition to exposure and involvement, all Corporate Members, regardless of membership level, can designate employees as individual members of NDTA. In this capacity, employees receive a complimentary subscription to the DTJ, as well as hotel and car rental discounts from participating corporate members.
