NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting Shifts to Virtual Event

Jun 30, 2020 | From HQ

After careful consideration, NDTA and US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) have made the decision to transform the in-person, 2020 NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting, originally scheduled for October 5-8 in St. Louis, MO, to one that is 100% virtual, to protect the health and safety of our community. The 2020 NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting (Virtual) is being produced out of an abundance of caution and care due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, however we are still excited to deliver the great lineup of keynotes and educational courses we have planned to help our community continue to support national security in a trusted virtual environment. We want to assure you that the NDTA-USTRANSCOM planning team is hard at work converting meetings that were scheduled to be held face-to-face this year into virtual events that you will find valuable and engaging. While we won’t meet in person this year, we are still very much a community that cares and is connected.

All this will happen October 5-8, the days of our originally scheduled conference.  Effective with the receipt of this message, we will close in-person registration while we prepare for virtual registration.  Details will be provided in advance, but please note that we will go Live for Virtual Registration on July 15, 2020.

For individuals who have already registered for the 2020 NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting, refunds for the difference from the face-to-face vs. virtual events will be processed to the credit card used or by check. For any questions on this process, please contact Annie Keith at  AKeith@ndtahq.com to coordinate a refund. For those who made reservations at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel, we have notified the hotel of the cancellation, but recommend you contact the hotel and cancel your reservation.

The virtual Fall Meeting will feature sponsorship and expo opportunities.  For organizations signed up to sponsor or exhibit at the 2020 NDTA Fall Exposition, please contact Lee Matthews at LMatthews@ndtahq.com for further information.

In the next few weeks, we will fine-tune the details of the virtual event and provide that information as soon as possible.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us at 703-751-5011 or Craig Hymes at Chymes@ndtahq.com.

For your long-range planning, NDTA and USTRANSCOM will once again join forces next year to co-host the 2021 NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting, October 18-21, 2021, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, MD.

Thank you for your continued support of NDTA.
