NDTA-USTRANSCOM Welcome Vice Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff as Fall Meeting Keynote

Admiral Christopher W. Grady, USN, serves as the twelfth Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In this capacity he is the Nation’s second highest-ranking military officer.

During his esteemed career, Admiral Grady, a career Surface Warfare Officer, has served as Director of the Maritime Operations Center; Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet; Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic; Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet; Commander, Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO; Deputy Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa. He most recently served as Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, and the Navy’s Service Component Commander to both U.S. Northern Command and U.S. Strategic Command, and executed Task Force Atlantic in coordination with U.S. Naval Forces Europe.
