SAP Concur Expands AI Agents for Travel and Expense

SAP Concur has introduced its AI Booking Agent in Concur Travel, along with an AI tool that can fill in missing receipt information, the company announced.
First announced in July, Concur’s Booking Agent, part of SAP’s AI copilot Joule’s growing pool of agents, creates policy-compliant itineraries for travellers from their natural language queries. The agent now is generally available in Concur Travel, according to the company.
SAP Concur also announced a Receipt Analysis Agent for its receipt-reading tool ExpenseIt, capable of filling in missing information from receipts. For example, the tool can use user-specific data to determine a missing location, vendor or expense type from a receipt, and it can sum up line items to determine a missing receipt total.
Other recent SAP Concur announcements include a new AI receipt checker in Concur Verify that can identify false receipts and an expanded integration with Uber for Business to automatically itemise and categorise receipts for rides and meals.
Next year, Concur plans to introduce a new AI spend planning tool that can estimate trip budgets and share those budgets with planners using generative AI, according to Concur.
