  • June 10 – Regional, State, and Chapter Presidents meeting with NDTA HQ. This is a quarterly by invitation meeting for NDTA Presidents to exchange information with VADM Brown.
  • June 15 – NDTA awards nominations are due to headquarters. For awards information, visit ndtahq.com/membership/awards/.
  • June 23, 10:00am CDT – You are invited to the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command’s (SDDC) Virtual Change of Command and MG Stephen Farmen’s Retirement Ceremony. This ceremony will be streamed live via Facebook and can be viewed by going to the SDDC HQ Facebook page at facebook.com/HQSDDC/. You do not need an active Facebook account to view the ceremony.
  • June 25, 2:00-3:00pm EDT – NDTA and the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB), with moderators VADM William “Andy” Brown, USN (Ret.), NDTA President, and MG Jim Hodge, USA (Ret.), IDB President, with to be confirmed panel members Lt Gen Giovanni Tuck, Director of Logistics, Joint Staff, and Sridhar Chandrasekaran, Partner at Goldratt Consulting, leader in constraint-based decision-making, will host a webinar Post-COVID-19: How to be Lean—Without Becoming Brittle! Additional information, including how to join the webinar, will be sent to NDTA members via email later this week.
  • July 24 – The Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) will meet virtually. This is an annual, by invitation meeting for NDTA, government, and industry leadership.
  • July 29-30 – NDTA and Christopher Newport University’s Center for American Studies present the Surface Force Projection Conference Webinar: Enabling Dynamic Force Employment Through Global Port Readiness (SFPC). Visit ndtahq.com/events/ports-conference/ for more details.
