Sharon Lo, Former DTJ Managing Editor, Recognized for Outstanding Service to NDTA
Ms. Sharon Lo received the NDTA President’s Award on Wednesday, December 11, in recognition of her dedicated service as the Defense Transportation Journal (DTJ) Managing Editor. From 2012 to 2024, she produced and edited 71 DTJ editions, in addition to weekly NDTA newsletters, providing relevant articles, reports, news and updates to NDTA members. Her diligent work significantly contributed to the education and information of the transportation and logistics community on matters of national importance. Her efforts have been instrumental in upholding NDTA’s mission to educate and support a strong national defense, making her a deserving recipient of recognition from all NDTA members.
“I sincerely appreciate the recognition,” Ms. Lo said. “It’s been an honor to help share insights and stories from our members and partners over the years—and to help support the work of those at the tip of the spear.”
The NDTA President’s Award is presented at the discretion of the NDTA President for those who have performed at the highest levels in accomplishing NDTA’s goals and objectives. Prior to her role as Managing Editor, Ms. Lo fulfilled several important roles on the NDTA Headquarters staff, including the Director of Public Relations, Events Manager, and Executive Assistant to the NDTA President and CEO.
