You are invited to attend a business and infrastructure partners call concerning the Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), hosted by FEMA’s Office of Business, Industry, Infrastructure and Integration (OB3I).  The teleconference will include an overview of the current situation, a discussion on supply chain issues, updates from available regions or sectors, and will conclude with an open forum for questions and information sharing.

Surface Force Projection Conference – RESCHEDULED

We are happy to announce we have rescheduled the NDTA-CAS Surface Force Projection Conference at Christopher Newport University to July 28-30, 2020.

As we go forward, NDTA is very mindful of the effort to stop the COVID-19 virus and we are determined to keep the safety and health of all our conference attendees first.

US Northern Command Leading Military Support to COVID-19 Response

By USNORTHCOM Public Affairs

US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), is leading the Department of Defense’s (DOD) response to COVID-19 efforts in the continental United States. The command’s work will also provide support to state and local partners.

“Our hospital ship USNS Mercy has arrived in the Port of Long Beach, outside of Los Angeles, and received her first patients today, while her sister ship, USNS Comfort is scheduled to arrive in New York City tomorrow,” said Gen Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, USAF, Commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and US Northern Command. “Additionally, we are deploying three Army field hospitals to Washington State and New Jersey, which will be up and running by April 2. We are also preparing to deploy a large Navy medical team from Jacksonville, Florida, to expand medical capabilities where needed.” […READ MORE…]



Railroading at the Speed of War

How does the rail industry help the military? That was the question Philip Schulz, Military Liaison, Industrial Products Group, BNSF, posed to the audience as he began his presentation, Railroading at the Speed of War, during the 2019 NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting.
