Travelport and Southwest Airlines® Win TMC Customers, Complete GDS Roll Out
- Partnership with Southwest Airlines leads to agencies moving business to Travelport

Travelport, a technology company serving the global travel industry, today announces it has signed new long term deals with a number of leading U.S. travel management companies enabling Southwest Business and other travel bookings. Since Southwest Airlines® announced in May that travel management companies can conveniently book and modify reservations in the Travelport GDS, agencies are turning to Travelport for new capabilities and easy access to Southwest’s everyday low fares.

Travelport has completed the roll-out of Southwest Airlines to its U.S. customer base, with Southwest content fully live across Travelport. The carrier is also using Travelport Rich Content and Branding to keep agencies updated on the carrier’s latest cleanliness and safety measures with the Southwest Promise.
