What to Know About GovTravels: Key Industry and Government Meetings, and Travel Academy Details

GovTravels is now less than a month away. Taking place February 27 through March 1 in Alexandria, Virginia, the conference has evolved to include a wealth of opportunities for all attendees to engage in discussions and professional development. Of course, the event hosts keynote speakers and panels, as well as a not-to-be-missed exhibit hall. But, are you aware of the many vital industry and government meetings that take place? In addition, the NDTA Government Passenger Travel Advisory Council (GPTAC) Committees—the Airline Committee, Bus Committee, Lodging Committee, Long Term Lodging Committee, Rental Car Committee, and Travel Management Companies Committee—will meet. These meetings are open to all for observation. 

As if that were not enough, attendees also have the opportunity to dive deep into specific topics during Travel Academy, a series of interactive, one-hour education breakout classes. Topic tracks include Travel Experience and Safety, Travel Innovation, Travel Technology, Travel Partner Programs, and Travel Compliance. Course instructors include subject matter experts from the GSA, DTMO, Sabre, and CWTSatoTravel, among others.
