NDTA Military Aviation Advisory Committee (MAAC) Chairman

On 9 May 2018, Mr. Randy Martinez, NDTA Military Aviation Advisory Committee (MAAC) Chairman, co-chaired the Spring MAAC Meeting with General Carlton “Dewey” Everhart II, USAF, Commander, Air Mobility Command, Air Force Service Component Command to the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. MAAC members represent Scheduled and Charter Passenger and Cargo Airlines, Part 135 Operators, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), After Market Service Providers, Freight Forwarders, Associations, Leasing Companies, and Academia. They remain focused on many important issues affecting the military aviation community, including: Aerospace Industry, Understanding Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF,) Cybersecurity Blockchain, Dangerous Goods, Tall Rigid Cargo, and many more. The MAAC is one of many NDTA platforms that enables our collective aviation community to be ready to meet the challenges of an unpredictable world.

General Darren McDew, USAF, Commander, USTRANSCOM, refers to the Air, Ocean and Surface carriers as USTRANSCOM’s fourth component.  USTRANSCOM has demonstrated that they value NDTA and the goal to: Maintain that trusted environment by facilitating strong working relationships, education and the exchange of ideas.
